Simms is horrific at analyzing QBs I think he’s a troll at this point.
Not to say that his opinions aren't somewhat genuine but I think he exaggerates and sensationalizes the points where he differs because that gets him attention. It's what he's paid for though so you can't hate it.
There have been a lot of people saying that the league isn't as high on Fields as the public. Whether that's related to his epilepsy, Simms' points or whatever. It wouldn't completely shock me to see him be there at 11 but I doubt he falls to 32. That's Simms exaggerating for clicks. Fields at 15 or whetever doesn't get the same attention as 32.

Dan F*ing Marino was almost gift wrapped for the Jets in '83. But who needs a record smashing future HOFer, when you can have Ken O'brien. The Dolphins took Marino a few picks later.
In fairness, a lot of teams passed on Marino, including 4 that took QBs, but the Jets were near the end of the first round (so one might think the decision should've been easier with fewer options) and QB was obviously a need. Yikes.
