Luca Vildosta exoected to sign with Knicks, no idea who he is
there were rumors of them looking at this guy 1-2 weeks ago. I guess they made it happen. I wonder what they're paying him. They certainly have the leftover cap room to be generous.
We need to beat the teams would should beat to keep the 4 seed.
Bulls, Rockets, Grizzlies, Spurs, Hornets, and Celtics.
Lose to Nuggets, Suns, Clippers, and Lakers
That gets us to 40 wins and the 4 seed.
6-4 in the last 10 starts tonight.
BTW who would have thought we would be discussing 40 F'ing wins!!!

I answered your question on the other thread. He's taking the final roster spot on the current team per Ian Begley.
Not sure if anyone else saw this or if it was posted

He's a 6'3" Argentinian guard, 23yo, pretty efficient (59.7 TS%), good passer, with an high IQ and he has already played +300 pro games

I have a ton of clips on my laptop. Nba-role potential for sure and his on-ball defense is probably a little bit underrated
And Rose playing more minutes.
Ely gets moved down the bench I don't even want to see his 16 minutes a game anymore.
I don't think it happens tonight, I don't see Burks playing more than 10-12 minutes on the second team to see if he's back to form after a couple weeks away.
Rose and Elf seem to pivot minutes. Burks was playing pretty well before his "illness"....IDK he could surprise.

He has been clutch in the 4th quarter hopefully he comes back quickly
We are going to need him on this road trip

I dont think Burks is playing tonight, most likely sunday, he was just cleared today, give him 3 days to practice with team and return aunday
As much as I could talk Knicks and love to hear it
What a glorious commute to and from work today listening to all the hosts on NBA radio absolutely lambaste the Celtics for that "effort" last night lol

They are not playing like they are in a push for the playoffs.
Couldn't happen to a better team.
Fuck Boston

It's funny-- I hate the Celtics too (just as an organization in general) but I hate this team particularly more and I can't tell if it's just because they're the Celtics or if there's something more there. I just think Brad Stevens is an annoying little c**t. And something about Jayson Tatum I really don't like too-- he just kinda strikes me as a dumbass; I just imagine him playing video games and eating Doritos all the time and getting Doritos dust all over the controller and never cleaning it off. Marcus Smart annoys tf out of me too. All of them do. IDK. I'm glad to see them failing.
Also, Kevin Love apologized for his actions the other night vs. Toronto. It'd be best for all parties to go their separate ways.
Soft is definitely a good way of putting it. Tristan Thompson is the most fake tough mf I've ever seen. Definitely b*tch tendencies. Jaylen Brown seems soft as well. I hate that Brad Stevens was viewed as a genius at one point, but very always happy to see he and everyone in that godforsaken city suffering. Good times.
I don't hate the Cs, but have to laugh @ Ainge waiting & waiting & waiting to land someone big & it never happens. First it was going to be KD. Then it was Irving to get AD. Then there was talk of Butler, Leonard, Harden, etc...struck out on all of them because-in part-I think Ainge thinks he can fleece all the other GMs.
See ya call the talented Celtics soft-hearted, reminds me
As much as people shat on the last Knicks' regime, they did bring in dudes with toughness and heart when they were unable to get their free agent targets.
Everyone made fun of the power forward glut but the Knicks went from having Eric Kanter as the only enforcer type to having an entire team that stands up for itself. Now most this year's success is due to improved coaching and a better roster but I feel that Tribs did not have to teach toughness to the team as it was already there.
likely don't have much time left in NY. Plenty of teams miss in that part of the lottery, but to go back to back like that is soul crushing. With Knox especially, it seems like there were at least TWENTY guys picked after him in that draft that would have been better. Link - ( New Window )

Knox looked so good in Vegas that summer he was drafted...oh well. Neither of them are here long term.

I don't think it is a coincidence that his former team-mate Kevin McHale never got another front office job after trading Garnett to the Celtics.

McHale gift wrapped KG to the Cs. That trade was obscene in terms of what MN got back for someone of KG's talent. And I chuckle when people go after LBJ for starting the 'super team' era...well, then what the hell were the '07'-'08 Cs? I get that KG & Allen were traded there, but that was a 'super team'. And that team might have won it all in '09 if KG doesn't get injured in some mid season game vs. the Jazz on TNT that I distinctly remember watching.

Yeah this is probably it for Frank unless he resigns after no qualifying offer.
Knox has one more year to do something.
So disappointing for 2 lottery picks.
Never wanted Frank from all I read about him pre-draft. The man I wanted was Monk, who looked like a bust for awhile, but has become much better & is still super young. Obviously in hindsight, we take Mitchell, but se la vie.
I think we all knew both were bad picks at the time. Frank had no upside and Knox was horrendous at Kentucky. He’s like the one Kentucky guy who didn’t get better in the pros.
Knicks broadcasting duo is great with Breen & Clyde. Nets probably have the best broadcasting team. For whatever reason, I find myself watching a lot of Sacramento games & Christie is really good.

I absolutely love Mike Breen. His voice definitely gets me pumped for any game. It's great that he's the premier play-by-play guy for the NBA and he's also our guy. He's one of those guys who definitely has a TV voice whereas a lot of the local team play-by-play guys sound like more of a radio voice-- IDK how to explain it, like when I had to watch the Hawks team the other night their play-by-play guy's voice just sounded very 1930s baseball -style.
I honestly don't even know the Nets guys because I only have the league-pass for the Knicks and I live in Nashville, so I only see their national TV games. Just looked them up-- I have to say I'm not a big Richard Jefferson fan, though. I'll take Clyde all day. I do like Ian Eagle for play-by-play though.
The fact you can buy NBA league-pass for one team is the best thing ever-- I wish they had this for the NFL/Giants. And being able to watch the MSG coverage makes me feel at home-- and also they show the Garden jumbotron stuff in between instead of commercials which is awesome.
NBA League Pass for the entire league is something absurd, like $150. If you are a hoops junkie like me, that's a no brainer. I probably watch about 7 or 8 non Knicks games a week so I get my money's worth. Right now, I'm flipping back & forth between Knicks & 76ers-Hawks. Last night I watched OKC Boston.

I may do that next year-- that is a good deal. I usually just care about the Knicks and then when they're not playing I'll watch whatever the game is on ESPN or TNT each night. Having the option to watch anyone would be nice-- especially when the Knicks actually have playoff implications to worry about in the other games now. Also especially would be nice at this time when baseball is taking over the airwaves-- ugh. I will also probably want to watch the Nets just for the spectacle of the Big 3 next year (I'm not one of those Knick fans who wishes ill on the Nets-- If they're playing the Knicks I hate them but if the Knicks are out of it I'll root the Nets).
Bulls have been playing really big with Theis and Vucevic starting together and having lineups with Markannen at the 3..
It is how they beat the Heat, just killed them inside
No Lavine for the Bulls.
But they seem to play better without him imo
