NFT: David Crosby: Remember My Name DOcumentary

I just saw this last night and highly recommend. Great stories about a great time in rock n roll and some of the big names of the time. I had no idea idea what a gigantic douche he was. I had always thought CSNY broke up because of Young, but Crosby basically tore apart every band he was in. And of all the great musicians he played with, not one will even speak with hi. But he is very honest and introspective about it.

He is indeed a huge douche.

I'm not sure how much of his surliness was drug induced, I don't know how he has lived to this advanced age given how messed up he was.

I haven't seen the doc., but from what I've read, it makes sense why The Byrds kicked him out.

And why CSN broke up about 100 times! At least Neil had the good sense to walk away for good (for the most part).

David Crosby is very interesting, bright, articulate

And full of insights. But not a great, reliable person if he’s your band mate. Just ask Chris Hillman, Roger McGuinn, Graham Nash and the list goes on.

I knew a few guys that used to bump into him. Nasty F##k is the thing I remember them saying most.

Not surprised. Love the story Waddy Wachtel told about Crosby. Crosby was sitting in front of a mountain of cocaine and would not give Waddy a bump. Waddy said "...lets both remember this "
