And having Wade bunt?
What's the excuse this time, Poon? Fucking nitwit.
according to MLB.com it got the bottom of the strike zone.
I cant watch this team. I get too upset.
It's weird what a difference a year makes.

It was 6 inches outside - in the other batter's box...
Not you. The effin umpire missed that by 6 inches....
As much as i don't like Cashman, Boone is fucking Horrible
Boone is managing. I'm sure he'll do something sly.
Hope Judge's labia majorum is all better tomorrow.
Just saw that shitty throw, Nobody would run on that fly against Hicks before the surgery.
Quote:
Hicks can't throw the ball anymore. He doesn't do 1 single thing even average right now . What a shitty player and a maybe Cashmans worst contract ever

Really. I don't know what happened to him. He's a shell of himself.
Your batters have to be able to make contact in order for the extra innings rule to work for your team.
Just fucking admit it! The manager is out of his depth!

TJ surgery zapped his power and his arm strength. He is done. There is no way they can keep running him out there every day

That's brutal. He was a top 10 CF.
Poon's excuse will be that Loaisaga is a strikeout pitcher and he thought Mullens would K. Watch.
I don’t like the rule either, but... small ball is part of baseball. It’s just not something the Yankees do well.

after his team loses, but the extra inning rules is for crap. It really is not baseball, it is basically who can lay down a bunt better.

Especially when they aren't hitting at all...

I have ever watched a Yankees team that Ive liked less. From the "I dont give a single shit players", to the elfish looking dweeb manager, to the analytics driven moves, to the lack of developing prospects.
I cant watch this team. I get too upset.

Its really been 2 years since I enjoyed watching these guys. Last year, because of the coinciding of all the sports and the other shit I had going on, I watched them sparingly. But it just seems like that loss to the Houston cheaters took it all out of them. They all look sunk.
-No consideration to PH Judge for Hicks instead of Odor because There was a lefty on the mound. Smh shove the lefty/rigthy shit up your ass. Odor is the only hitter on the team who has a clutch gene and Hicks can't hit a beachball
-No consideration to Talking Mullins in the 10th . How in the world do you not walk their best hitter to set up the double play ball with only 1 out ?
-Thought Hicks threw the ball well to end the game . Is Boone seriously out of his mind ? A 5th grade little leaguer makes a better throw then that

And he forgot that the score was NOT tied when he PHed Judge. Dude is completely fuckin lost.
And you just have to love the "reporter" who didn't bother with a follow up "why?" regarding not walking Mullens. The whole season is a joke.

He forgot the score was not tied? Keep digging Aaron. Keep digging.
No wonder they run the bases so poorly when the MGR is unaware of the situation.
He didn't want to lose in the bottom of the 10th by two runs.
I agree with you here. I thought it was a no brained, but I guess not. The extra base runner means zilch in that scenario.
Quote:
Why pitch to the other team’s best hitter with two open bases? Manny Ramirez isn’t on deck. Keeping the runner at third from scoring is the only concern. There’s no excuse. None.

Meant no brainer
Tauchman is a scrub. I don't get the consternation over trading him.

And decide you are going to trade Tauchman killing any real options to replace him ? I will never understand trading Tauchman ever. His return was dogshit also so you can't even argue that

21 has a morbid hatred of Hicks, in case you have not noticed.

Morbid hatred ?
Are you watching the games ? He is the worst hitter on the team and his defense and effort has been atrocious. Tell me where i am wrong exactly .
As far as Tauchman, Maybe he would be a scrub but it sure would be nice to see him give him a consistent shot and see if he can product then Knowing that Hicks is going to be terrible on both sides of the ball
People need to stop whining about the extra inning rules,
it's the same for both teams. Also, don't worry about things
you can't control. You can say that in baseball, and the game of life I guess.
On to the NFL draft tonight.
Hicks has a 7 year deal for 70 mill., that's why.
If he was on a short team deal, things might have been different.
And a couple of days ago I was told that Tauchman was the very definition of replaceable. It's just the opposite - he should have been the replacement, or at least the partial replacement for Hicks who has rarely been anything more than a big tease since he was acquired and now looks completely and totally done. Gardner or Tauchman should be in CF every day, and since Gardy isn't an every day player any more, Tauchman had far, far more value than any journeyman pitcher like the guy they got for him.
The people running this team are insane and all need to be replaced. Now.
