As did the idea that he was in "job-saving" mode at the cost of the organization's future.
Hell, Gettleman could possibly retire at the end of the season coming off of playoff appearance with a franchise QB in hand and 2 1st round picks in a stacked draft.

Daniel Jones needs more OL help. He's still slow to process the field. The Giants need a better OL for him to get better.

If The OL isn't fixed we'll be saying the same thing after next season that we're saying now.
i.e. if the OL plays poorly there is a great chance that Jones will get little blame if offense still struggles even if it performs better but is still not good.
