So far, NFC East teams have signed 21 Free Agents post-Draft, with most of them going to Dallas (10 players) and Philadelphia (7 players).
But based on GBN Draft Report's Big Board (Top 300) as of April 28th, there are only 4 Free Agents (out of 21 so far) with "draftable" grades:
Eagles: QB Jamie Newman, Georgia/Wake Forest -- 166th Rank (equivalent to the 22nd Pick in Fifth Round);
Eagles: WR, Trevor Grimes, Florida -- 184th Rank (equivalent to the 40th Pick in Fifth Round);
Giants: EDGE, Raymond Johnson III, Georgia Southern -- 196th Rank (equivalent to the 12th Pick in Sixth Round);
Washington: RB Jaret Patterson, Buffalo; 231st Rank (equivalent to the 3rd Pick in Seventh Round).
Dallas signed two Free Agents (DL Austin Faoliu, Oregon and TE Nick Eubanks, Michigan) who made GBN's Big Board, but their respective rankings of 277 and 266 fall after the last pick of the Draft (#259).
p.s. for what it's worth (zero), I'm guessing Raymond Johnson III will make the Giants final roster.
Very true. The odds don't look great! Wondering if Raymond Johnson can compete for a roster spot as a 260+ pound DE rush specialist with his hand on the ground? That would at least take him out of direct competition with players such as Lorenzo Carter, Oshane Ximines, Carter Coughlin, etc. Incidentally, it looks like Johnson has a body type reminiscent of Leonard Marshall.
