Let's say they didn't have the Bears offer on the table? Also, this is without the benefit of knowing what our picks would be in the subsequent rounds. So if it's Kwity Paye you don't have benefit of knowing that we spent our #2 on an edge rusher. Is it Slater?

But if he was off the Giants board because of character, then Slater. I do think the trade was the right thing to do given the future draft capital acquired.

I would have preferred Darrisaw or Paye though at twenty... Time will tell.

I didn't like the reviews / film on Slater.
Paye didn't seem like great value.
Parsons seems like a knuckle head (perfect for Dallas)
Too early for Toney.
