he was here in Norwalk for an autograph session at Dick's Sporting Goods when he was with the Giants. My son got to meet him because he was working there at the time.

was an ideal example of fan perception and reaction. People pined for him to get a shot assured he would be a difference maker. When he played poorly or just average, the tide turned to ship him out as quickly as possible!

I never thought he was a good pick right from the minute that the Reese/Ross continuing draft disaster selected him.

I wanted to like him, but I remember him going down way too easy. Had no ability to break tackles.
