The reason there's no BBI for the Yankees is that most young Yankee fans today are whiney bitches. The Yankees have been winners every year for longer than many of them have been alive and they think a World Series championship every year is their birthright.
I'm speaking as someone who has been a Yankee fan for over half a century. I lived through the Horace Clarke era. I lived through the dreadful early 90's teams where John Sterling regularly referred to the opposing pitcher as "Cy Young for a day". The Yankee fans who I see posting today on BBI or various other forums remind of the Niner fans when I first moved here in the 80's.
I don't need to read some idiot who says Cashman has been a lousy GM since he got here. I have no patience for someone who wants to dump Judge. JUDGE !!! Do these people even watch the games ?
Today's Yankee team is having problems. There's no guarantee they make the playoffs. True fans can have a difference of opinion on how to move forward. They can have an opinion on who gets dropped, who gets fired, who should be called up and get more playing time and they can fantasize on who they can get.
The bottom line is that they have had a winning team every year since 1994 during which they won 5 rings, 8 pennants , more playoff berths than I can count and they're competitive this year. Their performance is unprecedented in professional team sports. I for one don't want to waste my time and energy on a forum full of "fans" that can't appreciate that.
It must be a generational thing. I’m 63 and also remember the Horace Clark days. ( BTW, Did you ever think Horace would have his number retired.LOL) I call the Whitney fans 96ers. Most became Yankee fans starting in 96 when they started to dominate. They have no idea what losing is.Some expect every position should have an all star. It doesn’t work that way.
Why? where are you going to find people like Eric and a handful of mods to create a site that basically has 2 rules. No politics and no April fools just so we can talk Giants football.
