Davis on the IL again for his sprained finger (BOOOO)... Hildenberger back up. Luchessi also recalled for tonight. Davis has been raking so that's unfortunate. Mets at .500 and tied for first in spite of a bunch of players not hitting and injuries mounting. LGFM.
Villar and Pillar are paying dividends early.
Really nice depth signings and we've had to dip into that well early.
Still day to day and on the team.
He's not going to be like this for nine years....right?
He's starting to worry me now though.
Cards manager is a moron for the IBB.
I’d drop Lindor to 6 right now. I have zero doubts he will be raking soon enough, but he just does not need to be in the 2 hole at all.
Love to see his defense doesn’t slump with his offense. Can’t wait to watch him when he’s in gear. Offense is very close. Alonso hitting seeds is fun to watch.
He's just a bit too inconsistent. Makes too many mistakes and doesn't have the velocity to cover for the mistakes...
Watch it again and listen... he tipped it...
No, we did not.
20 years.

You know exactly what I mean. And yes we did.

terrible call. Obvious strikeout that was not tipped. two pitches later its gone.

Unfortunately we are stuck with the cards replays so we didn’t get a better look. It sounded like he tipped it but it didn’t look like it on the replay.

Lol.. no I really don't know what you mean... wasn't trying to be a jerk.
If Cookie didn't get hurt, Luchessi wouldn't be in the rotation.
Luchessi makes like $600K vs Matz $5M
Besides them both being lefties, I don't see what you're getting at.

Cool cool. Just giving you a heads up that he tipped it, since you missed it.
Oh well.
Carrasco recovered from a very serious cancer. Chemo destroys your muscles. I really would not count on Carrasco. Whatever Mets get from him is gravy

Have no more simulated games. Seriously, get stretched out up here. At least he’d be a competent pitcher for four innings. Lucchesi should be DFA’d when Thor leaves the 60-day. He’s garbage.

That's extreme. Obviously, the Mets traded for him thinking he was healthy and he passed his physical AND pitched well last year. We should absolutely expect Carrasco to be "solid" when he returns.
Last year.
Why would you bring him back?
I could see if this was a rebuilding year but Mets are win
Now mode. How do you possibly put the team in his bands? Especially when
He was brought in
By the previous regime.
Just a really
Piss poor decision by Sandy in
An off-season of poor decisions.
Last year.

Didnt seem like Sandy was very fond of Rojas actually. He didnt give him a vote of confidence for over a month. He very likely was on the fence. Ultimately, they likely gave him another shot because 2 months wasn't a fair enough sample, even though I agree.... I wouldnt have brought him back. But that was likely the rationale. Not sure what else you are upset over. Mets have a solid roster and had a good offseason.

Look up his cancer. Very serious. With s high rate of return. Obviously a very important factor. That’s likely why Cleveland was willing to throw him in
The deal.

He was just a replacement for Beltran and he did a poor job

This is all speculation on your part. Sandy made the decision to keep him.

Its educated speculation. A GM usually will give a vote of confidence in a manager right away. Sandy did not. That's a fact.
Jones throwing 15 incomplete passes in a row?
This is so laughable, the guy signs a $342 Million Dollar contract and he proceeds to come here and hit .164 after 23 games. I guess he will pull out of this but he seriously needs to get the hell out of the 2 hole
Yeah... He is extremely slow to react. Seems to lacks any emotion. IDK. I want to be wrong, but the guy just continually makes head scratching decisions.

I hate to say it by Rojas was probably Cohens decision, you're talking about a guy who is a minority whos been with the club for years now. To fire him right off the rip would be bad PR.
Can we just get to June before we start calling for blood. Players play guys
