Regardless on how you feel about DJ this year, it is the first time in a long time where we are doing things the right way as an organization. It feels proactive and sophisticated that we are aligned with the leading edge in preparation and analytics.
We use the rookie contract to load a team, always us to make a definitive decision within the cheap cycle of DJ's career (not after the 5th option), we collect more assets to off set a possible set back and worse case scenario we reset the clock and do it again. This is an exciting year anyway you shake it because we are finally operating from a position of strength.
I think Reese tried to fix the OL, but just didn't succeed.
Guys like Thomas, Gates & Peart(fingers crossed) working out makes a huge difference to the narrative of our story.
+1
I can't possibly roll my eyes enough

Sorry, I can't agree. 2017 Draft he went for Engram when his tackles were already abysmal.
I’ll have what this guy’s having! I love the optimism, but let’s keep in mind that the roster was far better in 2007 than it is now. Our OL was developing into one of the best in the game. We had elite talent at DE including a Hall of Famer, with two other All-Pro DE’s. This is the NFL, anything can happen, but I would still think the Giants are 3-4 years away from being real contenders.
Or he’s not and we can upgrade in next year’s draft
Fight me
