I'm gonna consider this a football thread because the guy played football, but it's really just a human interest story.
Delaney, who attended Sachem East, was a standout football player for the Arrows and at Albany, but it's his work with children with disabilities that has made his legacy shine. Born with one hand, he has served as a model of battling adversity and overcoming obstacles. Imagine playing defensive end with one hand? Delaney did and he was one of the best in his conference too. |
