Do we still only know of the three (2 OL, 1 ER)? Other teams are announcing ten or more? There has to be a bunch that haven't been made public, but usually the player or the agent will post it on social media, even if the team is holding out until it's official.
This isn't a year when the Giants had extra draft picks, they only had six. And none in the 7th round so they had all that time to lay the groundwork for the free agency part of the draft. And with only six draft picks to compete against, you would think the Giants would be an attractive destination for undrafted hopefuls.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion on it. It's just so unusual. Did I miss something??? With rookie minicamp on May 14, I guess we'll eventually be hearing more names. Hard to conduct camp with only nine players.
What's the PS squad situation like for this year? Is it the same as last year? Can you sign veterans to the PS again? If not, I would suspect that the majority of our PS players will be cast-offs from other teams.

With Covid and lack of tape on guys, I would think this year more than any you can hit the ‘Victor Cruz jackpot’ on a guy who is more likely than ever to have gone overlooked.
Mike Reiss of ESPN.com explains the reasons for the decision to wait.
First, uncertainty regarding the pandemic has prompted the Patriots to remain at 82 players on the roster. Last year, the NFL and NFLPA gave teams the option to proceed with a split squad (if taking 90 to camp) or a single roster (if taking only 80). The Patriots opted for 80; they had to cut some undrafted free agents to get to that number. Some of them, as Reiss notes, had guaranteed money in their contract.
Second, the pool of undrafted players is more shallow this year, because fewer total players signed with agents.
Per Reiss, coach Bill Belichick has said that the team will invite potential undrafted free agents on a tryout basis later in the offseason. For now, the delay primarily seems to trace to the question of whether teams will have to make the same 80 vs. 90 decision when camp opens.
My guess is Judge didn't really feel comfortable signing guys he didn't meet with in person. I think he said he met in person with five of our six draft picks.
My guess is we may see more guys signed after the mini-camp after Judge has interacted with the invitees face to face.
It has more to do with last year and the pandemic, not this current year.
They could not meet people so they will not sign people they did not meet.
And this would be the smart move and best for all...
Did they say when the deadline was? Just wondering if there might have been last minute opt outs and that is why some players were surprisingly undrafted.
