If your lease is up, wouldn't you just return it to the dealer for a new car/lease? Why/how would you sell it?
At the end of the lease, you have the option of purchasing the car at a price agreed upon at signing. Due to factory shutdowns last year, there is a shortage of new vehicles right now. Some people (depending on the type of car) are receiving offers for their leased vehicles that are considerably more than the payout amount.
I could not see buying from them based on the things I've heard, even though their prices tend to be a bit lower than Carvana or Carmax. Selling might be a different story, but I would certainly have a look at the page below.
Anyone and everyone with a car, own or lease, absolutely needs to get a quote from Carmax, Vroom and Carvana ASAP. About a month ago a friend told me he got an extra $2,500 selling to carvana when his lease was up. Out of curiousity, I checked my car, Was floored by the offers. Went out and got a new car, made no sense NOT to.
My wife is about six months into her lease right now. For shits and giggles I just checked carvana. They are offering over $2k MORE than her buyout right now. Meaning she can get into an almsot identical car, at identical lease payment, but pocket $2,200 for her troubles. SIX MONTHS INTO A LEASE!!!
Moral of the story - take the 2 minutes using a junk email address and get quotes from Vroom, Carvana and Carmax. You may be stuinned with what is going on in the used car market right now.
Google vroom reviews or check out The Fast Lane on youtube for their Vroom experience. Very similar to mine.
The most disorganized silo'd company ever. No one speaks to anyone inside the company. You like 45 min hold times on the phone? Then call vroom. You basically have to move the process along internally for them.
I sold a car through there, the price stayed the same so that's the positive.
Negative is that it took a herculean effort by me to get it done. My friend worked with Carvana and it was smooth and professional. Recommend them.
a local showroom here so it wasn't online. I have sold cars through Carvana and Carmax too. Both were easy.
