they really didn't stop serenading the stros players last 2 games. Barely a gap, and by the time you realize it, up comes another "FUCK YOU player name" chant." Really well done people. Beers should be on the house.
And I cant remember ever watching 2 games in the 1st week of May with more juice ever. Not just noise, but literally every pitch like a playoff game, and with only about 10,000 I'm the stands! Congrats to anyone who was there the past 2 nights.
They are keeping the ball at the bottom of the zone or sliders outside and low and on occasion up and in with the FB. He is unable to get to the low ball. He pulls off the ball and his bat is at about a 45 deg angle from the bat tip toward his shoulders. Very little bat is in the balls path.
and presumably hitting in the 4th spot should help Judge get better pitches to hit too. Stanton moving to the 2 spot and having Judge protection behind him I think has contributed to this run he's on. Judge could use some protection behind him too now. He's not getting much to hit outside of maybe a first pitch take and he's extending the strike zone a bit too much. It happens, not too concerned.
When Voit comes back I never want to see Ford again
with the spin rate, numbers dork stuff. I'm tired of hearing about it. Just come up with some funny one-liners. No need to regurgitate numbers that other people are calculating.

Dude...my dad wants to tear his head off. He is so sick of the spin rate and the data shit.
after 97 pitches, you know Green against Altuve was just
a BAD matchup. That non-competitive breaking ball doesn't
help for Green. Altuve can catch up to any fastball.

His curve ball is fine, when it is working. It wasn't working today..the problem was walking Tucker on a breaking ball.
Infield single by Hicks. Torres on first. Shift all the way over towards RF. Torres is motoring to 2nd. No one covering 3rd bc Bregman covered 2nd. Torres keeps running. Catcher goes to cover 3rd. Torres runs right fucking by him and scores.
Hicks hit one up the middle that Altuve knocked down. Shift was on, 3rd baseman covered 2nd, so Torres kept running with no one on 3rd and the catcher tried to cover 3rd and Torres ran right past him to home...

His curve ball doesn't work often, don't know what you have been watching, He should develop a split like Chapman did
or a change, I have been saying that for a few years too.

I could say the same for you. It works fine. Yes sometimes he does not have a feel for it, but he's K'd a lot of people with it.

threw a competitive curve to Tucker, he wouldn't have walked him leading off.
Maybe if he could have thrown a first pitch curve to
Altuve that was a competitive pitch, that at bat might have
been different. For every 10 curves he throws, maybe two
are competitive pitches. Develop a split or change, get rid
of the stinking curve. As good as some think he is, he does
have a penchant for the gopher balls, you can look it up.
the car. John and Susan are just awful. I’m not being hyper-critical. They just make so many mistakes. For example, Susan says the crowd is booing a play Aaron Hicks didn’t make in the field when in reality they’re booing Altuve because he’s now at the plate.
Bad loss with a chance to sweep and Cole on the mound.

No doubt dirty fingers Sterling hasn't been following Covid protocol in the post-game buffet either.
That was one of the best displays of baserunning. His instincts were perfect because he never hesitated. He knew exactly what he was doing. Just a thing of beauty.
I still can't stop laughing about the Astros crying to the league because fans are being meanies to them.

That is piss poor...he was simply wearing his mask...

He had the whole getup. Not just a mask.

I was teasing, making up an excuse - covid safety!
It's all over the place. What is he looking at?
Cost Cole 5 extra pitches...
I google the record and it looks like it's 9 by Eric Davis.

They must be taking turns leaving the bat on the shoulder and now it is Higgy's turn.

no shit
Again with throwing offspeed to a scrub like Tucker...and then walking him. You have to wonder the thought process.
As Iassongna again does not call the low strike.

It was a ball. Iassogna has been inconsistent except to give a better strike zone to Houston..

But Poon will undoubtedly come up with some excuse.

how about the real one: that he's told by the FO geeks who can and cant pitch.
It wasn't a save.
