I think Tom has done a nice job finding the lineup(s) and the role that fits Toppin best. He's starting to come into his own for sure.

with his natural athleticism and skills, it's all a matter of attitude/character/work ethic, and by all accounts he strives every day to get better is constantly asking the vets questions.

But we really have to ride Rose and Taj hard in the 2nd half. They changed the game when they were in there. Sure we all see Rose, but suddenly we started playing D with Taj anchoring that end. for not letting this game turn into the Denver game. A lot of things that didn't go our way to start the game and looked like it'd be a repeat of Wednesday night. But you could see the urgency of Randle, ferociously running up and down the floor, imposing his will as captain to not let the team fall into a funk.

As some say: Basketball is a 1st quarter game-- often who wins the 1st quarter wins the game because it determines so much of the flow and strategy of the rest of the game. The fact the Knicks turned that 1st quarter around just in time was thanks to Rose and Randle. Love to see it.
