were Ojulari at 50 and Elerson Smith in round 4. I am not expecting much this season from Smith as he needs to get stronger and OLB is very crowded. We might see him gradually earn more time in pass rush situations as the season progresses though.
I expect Smith to take a huge step forward during his sophomore season.

I trust our staff knows more about Ojulari's health than what was made public. Personally I think Smith is a better value in Round 4 versus trading down and taking Ojulari in Round 2 when we could have just taken Liam Eichenberg at 42. I hope I am proven wrong and Ojulari proves to be a stud and it turns out that we did not need to spend a 2nd Round pick on another OL.

I prefer trading down landing another 3rd next year and landing Ojulari. I wanted Ojulari at 42 so getting him at 50 was awesome. I liked Eichenberg but can he play guard? I think that he is a better fit outside and I would rather roll with Peart at RT this season.
It's going to be fun watching this coaching staff develop the raw talent in Elerson Smith. They did a hell of a job getting Tae Crowder, Cam Brown, and Carter Coughlin ready and none of them have close to the amount of athleticism that Smith does.

If Ojulari can actually cover, we got a fantastic asset for the defense in the 2nd round. Yes, he is very straight line but you watch him play and OL have difficulty getting by his hands. He gets upfield very very quickly and seems to have some exposion in his game.

Booger McFarland said that he is good when dropping into coverage. I am sure that he needs work there as he wasn't asked to drop into coverage often. I think that he is a legit 3 down OLB who will thrive in Graham's scheme.
They show shot putters and the kid going nuts after a record setting throw is the kid that is one of my sons best friends. They went to HS together and he knows Smith really well and talks extremely highly of him.
I will be rooting for this kid to make the team and develop into a top pass rusher!
I expect Smith to take a huge step forward during his sophomore season.
same here
If he is half of Jason Taylor we win. Jason Taylor was an incredible pass rusher.

Smith is so similar to Jason Taylor physically. Let's hope that he has the same impact.

Absolutely, I would be happy with that. Taylor was an elite talent for a long time.

Good video, hoping he becomes a real impact player.
Seems to be the kind of kid that will keep his motor running at a high level.

Jason Taylor really didn’t start to be a force until like his 4th year in the league. Let’s hope Smith comes around a little sooner then that.
