5 games left, Here we go!!!
tough match up on National TV.
Knicks need a good game not necessarily win but not the roller coaster games they have been playing.
consistent effort.
Quickley and Burks are doubtful today and it sounds like they won't play.
Heat vs Celts also today.
Can they both lose?

This game is going to suck if we play our normal game. Need a couple of X factors that the Clips werent counting on to make this a non laugher.
Either way i hope 1 team loses both

I still want to see more Franc and to have Thibs look Obi in the eyes and tell him that he wants to see him start the 4th with at least 4 fouls. Go block some shots if youre going to score less than 10 a game.
Peyton is not working and costing us wins
With that said when he is about to be put down he has that minutes saving performance.
They need to take both games.
Gotta win 1 of these next 2.

I really dont see how Franc is less viable as a mins stealer when Payton isnt scoring. They have an alternate 1 in Barrett anyways. Have Franc play the 1 on D and the alt 2 or 3 on O.
Right now their pick and Dallas's pick are 21 and 23 in the first round. (They also have Detroit's 2nd, currently #32, and Philadelphia's, now #58) The current team is good enough to beat up bad teams but not good enough to beat good teams. It is very unlikely they'll draft the kind of elite player they need.
Realistically, in the modern NBA, you need several elite stars. Randle, check. So where do the other one or two All-NBA-caliber players come from? Quickley and Barrett haven't hit their ceiling yet, Toppin is coming on; maybe one or more of them will be that kind of elite player, maybe not. Probably not from the draft picks, It would be an incredible stroke of luck if any of them produced an elite player.
The Knicks have a lot of "assets" but elite players are expensive. We may end up seeing the Knicks package a fan favorite (like Quickley) with picks to move up, or to get a star player, and then try to keep enough cap space to bring in one more, maybe after next season. Otherwise they're a bit stuck.

They have 60 million in cap space 5 1st round picks in 3 years and 11 2nd round picks, they are not even close to stuck

the Knicks are at risk of sliding into dangerous territory: NBA mediocrity. Not good enough to compete for a title, not bad enough to draft an elite player talent.

Yea, not sure how we are stuck. Maybe for opgrading for next year outside of the draft. The NY Knicks are in terrific shape going fprward. While I would love Booker, that is never happening. I think we have to package to get up to get ourPG. I really dont want to give Mitch money that he wants, but I have been openly concerned about our low post presence. I say keep Noel, Rose, Gibson, make a hard play for Burks abd see what we can do later on while rolling over the cap. We have to go small until an option opens up for a big. But I say get that starting 1 THIS year.

I guess those second-rounders mean they'll be making trades. You don't want to keep all those picks because you can't keep that many second-tier prospects.
Where have I seen this before?
Where have I seen this before?
Team looks like the '86 Celts when Rose is out there compared to Elfrid.
Randle always sits to start 2nd quarter
Kid is trash
The Knicks Engram to me, Haha. But EE is better @ football than Elfrid is @ hoops.
Bullock's rise is almost as stunning. He was a complete afterthought last year.
The ref was yelling at Randle, you could see him say you better walk away from me
Having IQ or Burks for these minutes would have really helped.
He is all hustle.
