I just hope Dave Gettleman gets busy again for the OL. Getting weapons for Jones was half of the battle improve the team, but protecting Daniel Jones should be a priority. If this is supposed to be his breakthrough season, he won't accomplish a blasted thing if he'd running for his life on every play.
the ESPN article speculates that Washington will either push their 2nd round tackle draft pick to the bench or release their starting right tackle for cap savings. So it could improve their left side a little bit but could easily weaken their right side as a result
the Bears are going with a rookie LT. I'm hoping the Bears have a really bad year so our picks are higher next year. Never hated the Bears, but am rooting for them to suck this year, LOL
RE: Darn, there's another possible player not signed by the Giants

In what universe is Charles Leno at $5mil better than either of the Giants offensive tackles?
Did you just see someone signed an offensive lineman and decide to complain about the Giants OL regardless of who it is? They also got Ereck Flowers back...I suppose the Giants were asleep at the wheel there too?
Pro bowler alternate in 2018
He hasn’t missed a start since named a starter in 2015 - his second season
Per PFF - last season had 6 penalties and allowed 5 sacks
Bears saved 6 mil by releasing him
is making a mistake. If they get decent QB play they are going to win games and compete for the division. Leno at very least adds depth. The Giants, Dallas and Washington are all going to be better this year. I do not expect the NFCE to lousy this year.

I thought I also read that they lost their RT a few months before they waived Leno. 40% of their OL is different from last year and those 2 positions are important (they all are). Their #1 pick for next year is climbing like a well researched stock. I would be surprised if it wasn't in the top 10.
Let's hope he plays like Jay Leno.
