The top three are pretty spot on.

But based on the dollars we are paying LW, KG, and AJ getting production that supports those investments are vital - IMV. So I would make them 4,5,6.

And then everyone else...

You basically just need to list the starting 22 players, plus a few more. But you didn't name Jabril Peppers, who was one of the best defenders for us last year, and certainly very important to Graham's scheme.

He's more important than a lot of guys you have there.

Also, Graham Gano has to be in the top 25. A missed or made FG is often the difference between losing and winning. You have Lorenzo Carter there, and I think he's not all that important bc I don't expect him to play much if at all.

1. Daniel Jones
2. James Bradberry
3. Saquon Barkley
4. Leonard Williams
5. Andrew Thomas
6. Kenny Golladay
7. Matt Peart
8-10. Lemieux, Gates, Hernandez
11. Jabrill Peppers
12. Blake Martinez
13. Logan Ryan
14. Adoree Jackson
15. Kadarius Toney
16. Sterling Shepard
17. Graham Gano
18. Xavier McKinney
19. The nickel corner (Holmes or Robinson)
20. Dexter Lawrence
21. Danny Shelton (yeah that's right) or Austin Johnson to replace Tomlinson at NT.
22. Someone to emerge out of Oshane Ximines, Ryan Anderson, Cam Brown, Elerson Smith, Lo Carter, Ifeadi Odenigbo, or Carter Coughlin)
23. Evan Engram
24. Kyle Rudolph
25. Tae Crowder

I kept this to players but Jason Garrett would be high on the list.
25? That's like the whole team.

Two Tops

1--- Offensive Line (If Line is good Jones will play better, Barkley will be a ton more dangerous, and as a result the passing game will be god as well. Without it- everything else potentially falls apart).

2-- The play of the CB's. Giants should be bale to stop the run well enough. The pass rush will be limited. Thus the CB's most important.

Agree but I'd add LW at 4...I expect he plays more to his average with the contract in hand. I'll predict 5-6 sacks (I'd bet the under) and 5+ missed games due to injury.

Jones is the key (with Garrett lumped in)...if he doesn't make a HUGE jump, this team is irrelevant for 3-4 more years.
I don't know about irrelevant 3-4 more years

Guys are coming in from college and making an impact early. Mahomes and Jackson both won MVP in their second seasons. Allen, Mayfield, and Watson were all in the playoffs in year two. Our hopes are only pinned on Jones for as long as we insist on starting him. Moving on from him after 2021 isn't some huge setback.

Mayfield was Year 3. Also, every name listed (other than Mayfield) did not have his offensive staff fired after his rookie year. Unless Jones shows significant improvement the Giants need to be looking at his replacement. This is why I say the Giants are not in “QB Hell.” They can easily decline his 5th year option and he is a UFA after 2022. The 2022 Draft looks like it has the potential to be deep in terms of QB’s though lacking the high end talent that this year had. That being said, the names being talked about could fail to take the next step and it ends up more like 2014.

I don’t think it’s fair to pin NYG’s lack of success on Jones. Of the guys you mentioned, Allen, And Watson got drafted onto damn good teams.

The season prior to the Texans drafting Watson they got to the divisional round in the playoffs and Watt only played 4 games that year, he was on IR the whole year and their starting QB was Brock Osweiller! 1st ranked defense in Opp Yards that season. That was a good team!

The Bills in 2017 prior to Josh Allen went to the wild card round in the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor as QB 1. They were a top 5 team in turnover margin before Josh Allen ever got there. They had to trade up from 22 to 7 to pick Josh Allen.

Mayfield was actually drafted onto a bad team, so I’ll give you that but year 2 wasn’t pretty.

Jones is getting year 3 to make his case and rightfully so. The Giants gave Jones a 5-11 team, a 24th ranked defense, traded away their 2nd best offensive player in Beckham, didn’t even try to replace him. And the best player on the team hasn’t played with Jones for more than 3 or 4 healthy games. They also traded away 4 productive starters and absorbed enormous dead cap hits right before Jones got there.

Gettleman and Reese have a huge role in how void this team was when Jones arrived.

Here's the problem the Giants are facing--

Suppose many of us that wanted an OL selection in the draft or FA etc were right? Suppose this team struggles because of the OL?

Then what are we going to say if they struggle and teh OL was no good? - Give Jones another year and see what he cna do with a good OL, right?
Just so we're clear

You want to rank the important players as important.

It's going to be starters and specialists. That's the top 25.
