- The Falcons claimed C Sam Jones off of waivers from the Colts

- The Jets RB Austin Walter off of waivers from the 49ers (reuniting with OC Mike LaFleur)

- The Giants waived DE Breeland Speaks
Hate to see a fellow Ole Miss Rebel cut, but

There haven’t been any team activities, and the Giants didn’t draft any defensive linemen. Did he miss a workout? Show up out of shape? Hit on Rooney Mara?

Yup. Makes sense.

How far does a second-round pick have to fall to get replaced by a UDFA without even making it to mini-camp? Shows that even very good teams make very bad choices in the draft. To Reid's credit, he's not afraid to cut his losses (no pun intended).
