It's just an invite. It gives the QB a veteran WR to throw to in practices. If his 30-year old body shows it's still got some spring, maybe he earns a spot on the 90-man roster at vet minimum. Meanwhile they have someone to duplicate Golladay's role in the offense for rookie camp. And the young CBs get to practice against an NFL veteran with size. Should be a good learning experience for Robinson and Williams.
