German vs. Lopez
What else is new with this guy.
A torn tendon sheath is not going to heal by giving him some
anti-inflammatories. It may calm some swelling.
Chris Gittens is raking at AAA. I really really don't undeerstand why Ford is still here while Gittens is in the minors other then some possible lefty/righty bullshit. When you hit like Ford though, it shouldn't matter. This team needs offense badly, Gittens is raking...bring him up.
Florial is making his AAA debut today. 1-3 with a triple and a walk. He can be up here very quickly id he hits and Frazier/Gardner continue to struggle.
Finally, that Taillon trade could end up turning into a disaster. Not only is he not performing well, but the players they traded have all been fantastic to start the season. Yankees do not have a strong minor league system and they gave up a lot of quality prospects to get him.

Agree on Gittens - cut Ford, put Gittens on 40 man, bring him up.
Florial strikes out a lot. But I'd think about bringing up if Hicks goes down.
Taillon, he has good outings and bad ones. New pitching motion so it will take a while to get control with it. He has good stuff. He's a #5 that could be a #3 if he straightens out. Two years not pitching - takes time to regain control and confidence.
Lousy manager..
Means King will head back to SWB.
They needed a laugher and may get one.
Uh, yeah. I'm a genius, sir!

Great motivational speech! You must be wanted at Universities and business through out the North American continent...

Well, of course. But only once in-person graduations and conferences start up again.
Truth be told, I actually do speak at a ton of conferences and sometimes even make a good point or two!

I assume when O'day comes back then King goes back to SWB.
Then when Britton comes back , Wilson is the only one who makes sense to be DFA.

Well, you practice enough on BBI...

Your boy!
It will be upgraded internally. Britton will be back soon and when Sevy gets back somebody from the rotation is going to have to go to the bullpen. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s Sevy. He will be on a strict pitch count for the remainder of the season so the bullpen probably makes the most sense

but it ain't pretty most nights. The rotation is doing better than expected but the BP will need to be upgraded for the final push.

BBS, probably in a rotation with Kluber and Taillon. Might see some Mike King in there too. Kluber and Taillon will be limited themselves in some fashion.
of the BP, never has. Coming off TJS, doesn't make sense
for a guy like him. Sevy's first few starts will have a pitch count, but he won't be limited after that.
He had surgery in Feb, '20.
They are babying Taillon more than the rest of the rotation, I would be surprised if he pitches more than 125 innings
this year. He has missed a lot of time the past few years.
Nice to have a blowwot win for a change, German continues to
impress. He has been their 2nd best starter to this point.

This, then will leave salary and trade room to fix the infield, which is a mess (link).
