I really don't follow horse racing even though I live like 10 minutes from the Saratoga Race Course and it's a big deal up here.

But Baffert's horse Medina's Spirit finished 3rd and got passed for the first time in his career. Apparently, he tested clean before the race. And lost as the favorite. Interesting how that works.

The short turnaround. The derby was obviously a black eye for the sport but i don’t think the trace amounts were the difference. I just don’t think Medina is a triple crown winning type horse. Irad rode midnight bourbon hard and gassed Medina, he was not pressed until the homestretch in the derby.
