So this popped up in my news feed, and already seeing shitty click bait articles on it...but basically Tisch (not Steve, the other brother) is being cited as saying that "he's not sure Barkley will be ready for September".
I watched the ambush and it's complete horse shit click bait at it's finest. I know most fans here are aware of just how awful the media is, but garbage like this takes the cake imo.
The guy comes out of a restaurant, and this "reporter" (who sounds like he has a legit brain defect) is asking him if Barkley will be ready for September.
Tisch keeps trying to walk away and says he doesn't know, and even ends the encounter saying that he's in the hotel business and leaves the Giants to the football people.
Not gonna link the articles or the TMZ ambush out of spite, but the fact this is going to make headlines this week just shows how fucking awful sports "journalism" has come.
End rant.
Should I clarify? Most media is comprised of trash and clickbait. Happy?
Ya got me. You're a genius. If you disagree with the take then say so. I can unequivocally say that you're a tool 👍

Either you're following the wrong media or you have an agenda....
That's more of a true statement. He is literally not sure because he isn't close to the situation. It's probably meant to be misleading but the TMZ one added words that tell a different story.
It's not that they couldn't rush him back on the field - but why be aggressive with his recovery? He is a franchise player.
The #1 priority is protecting his longterm playing career, they should be fine without him if they have the proper depth in place. Last year, they were screwed when they lost him and took weeks to recover. By then, the season was largely lost. I don't see them making the same mistake.
No, the entire msm corporate propaganda network agenda says so, the least of which is tmz. But you are entitled to your sheep opinion. Stay stronk consumer!

Gee. I wonder which media you're referring to.

His agenda is that someone ambushed Tisch, twisted his words and posted his own version of reality. Yes very much like any brand of media you want in this day and age.

Most ‘media’ isn’t journalism. ‘Most’ media you’re talking about are gossip crap. If people wouldn’t click on them they wouldn’t be doing what you’re complaining about. People don’t want actual journalism, they want voyeuristic ‘reality TV’ crap. How else do you explain the success of shows like ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ and his kid’s spinoff, or the Kardashians. You clicked on the ‘report’ so you are helping support this stuff.

Exactly. I love the Clement signing. Booker and Clement can carry a nice portion of the load while they ease Barkley in. Even when Barkley is healthy the days of them having him out there 90% of the RB snaps is over. It’s not a smart move unless you are talking about a Derrick Henry type.
The guy runs with reckless abandon, often landing awkwardly. No surprise he s missed so many games. Hard to argue that up to now he warranted a #2 pick.
This was my first thought as well.

This is TMZ.
It's like saying McDonald's is garbage so all restaurants are garbage.
That said, most people just listen to the media that allows them to stroke off to their own biases and call everything else trash.
Headlines are written by others. I think op twisted the narrative here.

You do realize that by bringing this up, lots of people here will go to the website to see what happened. So, you probably increased their clickbaits. Maybe that’s what you intended.

You live your life worried about TMZ. Who's a tool?
