Begins @ 2:35 mark, ends around 3:05. How is the call on the field of a fumble overturned? If that call stands-and it damn well should have-we have the ball around our our 45 up 10-3. Of course GB scores to tie it 10 10 on that drive following that ridiculous overturn call.
Yeah, we ended up winning comfortably but that call-to this day-still pisses me off. That gave off 2002 Western Conference Finals Lakers vs. Kings 4th quarter of Game 6 vibes.

I only care about bad calls when the Giants lose.
You are clearly a troll. I just rewatched and actually remember it being way closer than that! Holy shit that's awful. Think they get that call if we are at home? I doubt it. Why our playoff runs are even more amazing.
You serious?

He must have been referring to the opening kick fumble as the one you're talking about isn't up for debate.
An earlier BS game was vs the Rams with the ridiculous "Helmet tackle" call and the PF on Dayne after the Rams player slammed his head after a tackle and wouldn't let him up
That's the way I remember it. Certainly not another look to tell you why.
No offense, but you are either looking at the wrong play or have no fucking clue what you’re talking about. In the play in question, at 2:35 of that video, the players elbow NEVER hit the ground. That’s never even been up for debate. The debate revolves around the “shin” hitting the ground.
Why does there always just have to be a contrarian that simply makes shit up?
Is this sarcasm? I mean his elbow clearly didn’t hit the ground.
Again, WTF? This is as clear as day.
Also, Eli was a tough SOB. He hung in there and fired some crazy throws. I hope we get back to this type of football one day.
Thank you for sharing.

Rule states the play is dead when ANY PART of ballcarrier’s body touches the ground, other than feet or off ball hand. Elbow clearly hit the ground. Play was over.

Okay. You’re right. I was looking at the fumble on the kickoff. Didn’t watch see the other play, and couldn’t understand why there was so much dispute.
The Giants won the game and we still talk about it.

Ha, just saw this after my post.
Maybe one happened, but we never got an explanation of it. It is like Leavy just awarded the ball back to the Packers.
Thank goodness we won that game, both those calls still piss me off despite the outcome
Two awful calls and a roughing the passer call when Rodgers was no where near the pocket.
I think it was a fumble. I don't think any reasonable Packers fan would've argued otherwise either. Leavy is one official who will not change a call without clear evidence. And, the replays available gave him an out to not overturn.
Refs 14
Green Bay 6
Monster games from Nicks, Osi and Boley...
idk about the knee, but did they rule ankle or calf touched the turf? weird call to overturn
They ruled it a fumble and the Packers challenged. So the burden was on the Packers to get it overturned. Then after the commercial break, they said the call on the field was now no fumble, and the Giants challenged. And I assume they reviewed the play with their eyes closed, they said there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call.
The Packers had two touchdowns that game, and boh were set up by horrible calls made that extended drives. It wshould have been a HUGE blowout. Like 38-6.
Changing the initial call was the horseshit part. Kind of reminds me of the refs picking up the flag for PI vs. the Bucs last season.
My favorite team of all time. That was a 12-4 team that went 9-7. I know the defense ranked poorly during the season but that was mostly due to injuries. They were stacked with talent and JPP was a monster that year. Eli was arguably MVP of the league and the running game, while poor during the regular season, was stellar in the playoffs.
It was extremely obvious heading into the playoffs that year that all of the division winners in the NFC were better than every playoff team in the AFC. I have no idea why the Patriots were favored in the Superbowl.

Not a troll. Just very old eyes. Note the ? ? ? ?
There is a lot of money on the line, even for regular
season games.
These problems could be handled in a much better fashion.
