they get creative on offense with this kid and DJ. DJ needs to work on his screens and short passes and I am sure he is doing that. If Engram gets his head out of his ass we can have a scary offense for the first time in years
Big season for both DJ & Garrett. DJ in that he needs to show he's the future at QB & Garrett in being creative enough to get KT in favorable matchups/situations.
If the offense does not start off well.....plenty of finger pointing can occur quickly....

Couldn’t agree more. This offense needs a fast start this year - if not it could get ugly given the pressure and spotlight on DJ. Everyone knows this is it for him, a quick start and confidence will be critical.

Yep. There's so much pressure and resources spent on the offense that I can't help but feel they wont disappoint.

I think the key with Engram is he won't be targeted nearly as much as last year, when he was #1 on the team in targets (109). He'll be more like #4-6 this year. And when he is targeted, hopefully he won't be in as much traffic.
Last year, his catch % was the lowest it's been for him since his rookie year, so he could improve, but even if he doesn't, it won't negatively impact us nearly as much if he's only thrown to 30 times instead of 110.

Texas Roadhouse has better rolls and a really good lunch special on Fri-Sun. DJ should have brought him in around 11:30 for an $11.99 sirloin.
Since he is still on his rookie deal, DJ should have taken him to Beefsteak Charlies. Now I am worried that he is one of those bad-with-their-money types who needlessly spent everything and go broke when their career ends...
