Tonight's lineup:
1. Billy McKinney RF
2. Francisco Lindor SS
3. Pete Alonso 1B
4. Dominic Smith LF
5. Kevin Pillar CF
6. Tomas Nido C
7. Travis Blankenhorn 2B
8. Jacob deGrom P
9. Jose Peraza 3B
Sure would be nice to take this one! Last two games have been agonizing offensively but the pitching has been great. Villar still out of the lineup but is available. LFGM!
Got to find some offense.
Who else are you putting in that role? Pillar? Peraza doesn’t walk enough. On average, McKinney sees over an extra pitch per plate appearance than Peraza and about 0.8 more than Pillar.

Boy would I love to see it this year.

Fucking Rojas would be probably pull him with two outs in the 9th once he hits 90 pitches….
Yup. People pitched 60 innings last year or so. Teams will work to keep aces even lower than usual. Be surprised to see many break 200. Good to see Lugo/Diaz in the preferred roles. Perfect formula win for the short handed Mets
Hoping Stro can get the split tomorrow. Be a good week”s work even with some frustrating moments.
You mean Rojas
This is GOAT

Another Cy Young and he’s in the conversation.

Seriously. I didn't stay up for the game but when I got the score and saw it was 0 runs for Padres my first thought: God I hope I didn't miss a no-hitter.

his arm was dragging in the 6th and 7th and asked out. Maybe we can hold off on cursing Lopez for this one?
You mean Rojas
Hahah, yep, my bad. We got pretty deep into the single malt at my place. Obviously I went mentally back to the teams of my yoot.
Still, it was good to hear that Jake made this call. Important for him to do that at this stage of the year coming off the brief shutdown. It was good to hear that Rojas didn’t pull him when he was opposed to it.
speedy, Degrom asked out. relax on Rojas
Mets fans, we officially have an elite bullpen
Walker and Stro are better than they have ever been.
Basically, the entire staff is pitching at close to career bests. Even Lucchesi is coming around.
