Maybe they want him back just for the pleasure of cutting the guy. Seems like we have way more talent at CB and DB now.
I take it as a good sign that Beal's situation is the only real issue on a lot of people's mind. No QB controversy, no new coaches or coordinators, no holdouts, no ESPN interviews, no drama
If they feel that he just isn't in to football, they need to cut the cord immediately. I would hate for him to come down with an injury where we would have to pay him an injury settlement.
RE: Weren't there comments about Beal that he just wasn't into football?
Why? Cause I'm a fan and he has experience at a premium NFL position in this passing league.
However, it is apparent that it doesn't look good. Perhaps he needed a "year off" to think thru his future? He'd been hurt and well didn't play up to his 3rd round supplemental position?
The deeper at CB you are the better off you are. Imagine how good this defense gets with 3 capable outside corners; 2 nickels and 3 safeties of merit and perhaps a 4th in Love?
Wait until you see Lemieux and Hernandez try to block. When we have no passing game or running game the drama will start.
Have you seen Lemieux or Hernandez play? Both are excellent run blockers and if you have watched closely last season you would have noticed that the running game took off when Lemieux entered the starting lineup.
The right side of the offensive line will feature two new starters including Peart replacing Fleming at RT. Fleming was the weakest link along the OL last season.
The Guards are a concern....but we need to allow the players
Good to see entire team on field.

Nah, he's been cleaning out his gutters.

That's out there for sure.

It's not that black and white.

I keep thinking that this is the 1st "normal" NFL off-season for the entire OL at their current position.
We can keep beating the drum of the past 10 years of a lousey OL.
Its Year 2 for all involved...and lasr year was far from normal.
And if DG has shown anything, its to have a little knowledge of decent OLmen.
They couldn't run the ball last year? Really?

Agreed, he's shown little knowledge...
The Packers have drama. The Texans have drama. The Giants have no drama.
