I was there and I remember being stunned right from the start. The buzz on talk radio etc was that the Giants had no chance, and when that kickoff happened, it was so out-of-the blue, and then it only got better for there. A great day

Joe Judge said there's not much difference between OTAs and minicamp other than it being a little longer. The focus is still on football movement and teaching periods. The one thing you can work on without the pads is communication.

Joe Judge said Saquon Barkley has had a “phenomenal attitude” throughout his rehab. Said they’re going to take his rehab at the “correct rate” for his body.
They want him to play 100% aggressive and confident when he comes back.
I remember his last game as Giants coach. He had already been fired after a miserable 2003 season. His offensive line no more deserved to wear the uniform than ....
But still he showed up on the sideline wearing his Giants leather jacket with pride, coaching his butt off against a Panthers team several orders better than his.
We know his sister here, in California, a sweet lady, just like Jim. Rest in Peace, brother.

Players I didn’t spot today: RB Saquon Barkley, RB Taquan Mizzell, WR John Ross, TE Kyle Rudolph, LB Cam Brown and LB Ryan Anderson. No injury reports at this time of year, but some of those players are known to be rehabbing. CB Aaron Robinson was there mostly watching.
Don't want to read too much into this but it's becoming a strange pattern.

Not quite sure I'd call that a pattern... but now I expect more people will sound the "I'm beginning to worry about Toney" alarm now. It might even be the main convo throughout the summer and training camp but as soon as he house calls one vs Denver, all will be forgotten.

Eric, cant follow exactly what happen to KT, did he come back out, hurt, finished early?
He slipped a few times in practice. Late in practice, he slipped again. One reporter said he got up "gimpy" and left. Others said it was not clear if he left because he was hurt or if it was another equipment issue.

May not be used to the field and the cleats he has are not effective on that turf. May take a few pair of shoes or may need specially made cleats...Nike or Adidas or somebody will get him shoes that work.

I noticed in college he was always in nikes, but now with us hes went with adidas. Maybe they aren’t agreeing with his feet.

The way DJ is with ball placement, KG is probably thrilled with DJ. Perfect match, not surprised why Gettleman got his loins all hot for him. It's all about finding pieces that fit with each other. Paradoxically, inaccurate QBs need guys that get wide open (why the Bills found a bunch of tiny dudes that get separation) QBs that are great with ball placement need big receivers where the can put the ball to a spot. Eli was great at this as well.
