Just watched the first episode and Im really digging it. Still MCU but a little different. Feel like there are some Legion vibes, at least aesthetically. Anyone check it out?
Loved the first ep. Only problem is time travel gets kind of confusing so hopefully they continue to make easy to navigate for the viewer. Owen Wilson and Hiddleston will be fun together.
the "talky talky" scene is peak Owen Wilson lol. Read some interesting theories so far. I figured Kang could get referenced at some point given the time travel elements of the show but someone pointed out already that one of the Time Keepers bears a striking resemblance to Jonathan Majors (who has been cast in the role).
about this Loki series being the most strongly-tied to the next phase of the MCU storyline. I'm guessing it having to do with the timeline drifts?
I wouldn't be shocked to see Loki take down the TVA and create the multiverse when all is said and done. Especially with Dr. Strange 2 seemingly kicking off the next phase and that being the Multiverse of Madness.

They are definitely laying a lot of connective tissue not the least of which was mentioning that the Timekeepers were constricting the "Multiverse" to prevent "Madness."
Clearly Loki's mind blown seeing Infinity Stones laying around in the junk drawer.
Really enjoying the ride of Marvel's series on Disney+.
When they arrested loki for his time traveling. I immediately paused the screen and said, "why the hell didn't the TVA come after the Avengers for what they did in Endgame?" Then a few minutes later.. boom.. i get my answer.. they definitely have covered all the angles.
I can't wait to see all the different connections to the next phase.

I wondered that too re the Avengers time travel but had other things going on so I missed the answer. Will have to rewatch.
Really enjoyed the 1st episode, at least the parts I was able to focus on without distractions. The writing is clever and need to follow all the threads given time travel
I'm not that into the source material and comics, so some of this may be definitely right or wrong, but I like the idea the TVA is from the future and is protecting the one timeline that allows them to exist and essentially rule over everything.
Hiddleston is great and the story will be entertaining.
Great opener nonetheless. I love the character and I'm glad they've let Owen be.....Owen
