I gave Kelly an honorable mention (see above). He definitely belongs, but David Lloyd gets credit for a ton of great sitcom work in the 70's and 80's, David Milch gets credit for Hill Street Blue and Deadwood, David Simon killed it with The Wire, and how can I leave out Larry David? But you're right, David Kelly's resume stacks up against anyone's. And nobody was more prolific.
Btw, not a David but credit goes to Steven Bochco...
