I think it is stupid to make those kind of statements in an OTA. But it is what Leonard does
Most of what happens in OTA's is meaningless, and so is the commentary.
Still, Leonard is enough of a douchebag on his own without being misquoted.
However, the point is Devontae made the catch. So Jones got the ball there close enough for a completed pass. Not every QB puts every ball in a perfect spot on every throw...in fact, none do.
Did he comment on perfect throws that were dropped?

Something of note from Giants minicamp: They’re not running any completely live drills. So no real contested catches. No INTs. Nothing to allow for evaluation of linemen.
Main goal is to get guys acclimated to program, plays and systems so they can operate freely in summer.

Rookie WR Kadarius Toney is not at practice today. He has a family emergency and Joe Judge gave him permission to leave.
However, the point is Devontae made the catch. So Jones got the ball there close enough for a completed pass. Not every QB puts every ball in a perfect spot on every throw...in fact, none do.

I don’t want to be concerned and admittedly there’s not much to go on. However, after Sy’s comments I am hyper aware.

How exactly are you going to evaluate linemen in shorts with no contact allowed and no live opponent?

Giants minicamp is over.
Two OTAs left, next Monday and Tuesday, and it'll likely mostly be rookies and young-ish players.
Veterans are done until training camp for all intents and purposes.
It’s entirely possible that whatever family emergency Toney left for,
has been ongoing for some time and is the reason behind his missing OTAs. Need to remind ourselves these guys really are human with the same off the job issues the rest of us have.

I'm not judging but apparently he has been posting a handful of times with getting jewelry in the area. If there was a continuous family emergency you'd think he wouldn't be in the area getting a diamond grill.

Actually, it absolutely sounds like you are judging.
He was in town for the first couple of days of mini camp. They only practice for a couple of hours per day. What’s he supposed to do while in town and not practicing? Hide out in his hotel room and wallow in his miseries?
so I don't know what he's doing or where he's taking pictures, but any absence from activity is acceptable if the team says it is. Family members don't have to be dying for it to be okay.

There's a part of the fan base that is only happy if the player says nothing, wears his hair short, has only a wedding ring for jewelry, listens to oldies, takes less money than he can earn to help the team with the cap and swings by now and then to wash fans' cars and pose for selfies.
