It is being reported by Empire Sports Media that the Knicks are one of the teams interested in Pacers C Myles Turner.
This would make some sense as Turner is a rim protector and an offensive threat. The lack of Gibson/Noel being an offensive threat was definitely a detriment in the Hawks series. Of course, the cost could be prohibitive as Indiana is tough to deal with.
Yeah that was terrible - hopefully the Suns embarrass these clowns for the rest of the game.

I cant stand Jokic and will maintain they will never win a title with him..
He always gets away with traveling, hooking is arm, pushing off with his kff hand and i dont know why
he deserved to be tossed
cant stand him

Their league MVP in an elimination game. Great product Adam.

It's a flagrant 1 definitely. It's not a 2. But the league has changed, I suppose, so it is what it is.
That being said there are a number past MVPs in the league I can think of that I have a difficult time believing would be ejected in an elimination game.

maybe maybe not, but the fact is he threw a hissy fit because he was having a bad game, and full wind up tried to hurt Payne, there eas no basketball play there, he tried to hard foul him. He could of easily broken Paynes nose..
His intent was to hurt Payne which is why he was ejecred

Could we see Giannis for Doncic?
Basically capped out unless they let THJR and Brunson walk..
The only hope is KP finds his old self because no one is takong that contract on and bailing out the mavs..
I read that story too. I can't see how he's a competent exec with no league experience. He was telling Carlisle who to play and what his rotations should be? Insanity.
He's already loaded from the Duke money

He would be taking a pretty big financial risk, but barring a career ending injury he would make most of that money back in a few years. But I think he should he at least consider it.
Like you said the Mavs are pretty locked into that roster and honestly he should be an even bigger star than he is. Maybe a bigger market could be that enticing but I'm probably just being a wishful Knicks homer.

Doubt he doesnt sign an extension, i could see him signing the extension and then in a couple of years asking for a trade
If deemed intentional, it's a flagrant.
I didn't check the Nets' message board before forming my opinion of the Giannis/Kyrie play but, now that I have, there are certainly a number of posters seeing it as a dirty play.
You're kidding! Nets fans posting on a message board thought that a play that resulted in a Kyrie injury was dirty?
What are the odds of that?
Or someone might criticize him on Twitter and he could cry.
There is no softer superstar in sports.
I read that on The Athletic. Weird story...apparently Cuban hired some gambler who has an inordinate amount of sway within the organization.
Which he might. Amazing how fast a series can swing. After Game 2, I thought the Nets were going to take out the Bucks in 5, at max.

Story is suggesting he might leave... after his 5 year extension, not that he wouldn’t sign it: it’s a nothingburger

It read like the kind of story we've been used to reading about the Knicks over the last 20 years
You can see Young getting slowly more and more frustrated. You could see it in his eyes after game 3 he knew he wasn’t winning this series. Notice similar to the Knicks when a players starts saying “it’s a 7 game series, first to 4 wins, etc.” it usually means they can tell they’re about to lose, they’re just searching for some way to delay their inevitable fate. I remember Julius Randle and RJ saying it, and Trae said it after game 3.
I have to say i’ve been getting a lot of guilty pleasure out of watching the Hawks slowly die and self destruct (since game 2 when Doc finally woke up). The Hawks are by far the team I hate most in the NBA right now, and this started well back in the regular season for me, not even with this past playoff series.
I still can’t believe how many people thought the Hawks suddenly had more talent than the Sixers, based solely on the fact they had more talent than the Knicks lmao
and i have never seen a team taunt after every single basket they make like the Hawks do, constantly chirping at either the official or the other team

come on the calls he gets are ridiculous, but that one on Embiid was legit. He clocked him in the head while he was still an airborne shooter.

I was talking more in general, but it was still a late ass call
It was honestly the most ridiculous broadcast I’ve ever heard. And it’s weird to because I get the Hawks broadcasts all season because I live in Nashville and their crew is the most biased “team” broadcast of any team broadcast I’ve ever heard (which is saying something). They’re literally always saying NOT ENOUGH fouls are called in Trae’s favor (imagine that). So here we are with TNT broadcasts in the playoffs and for some odd reason Brian Anderson is literally orgasming after every Trae Young 3. He’s a 33% 3 shooter why do people act like it counts for 5 points every time he makes one?
And their taunting after every single basket is one of the cringiest things I’ve ever seen in pro sports.
