It is being reported by Empire Sports Media that the Knicks are one of the teams interested in Pacers C Myles Turner.
This would make some sense as Turner is a rim protector and an offensive threat. The lack of Gibson/Noel being an offensive threat was definitely a detriment in the Hawks series. Of course, the cost could be prohibitive as Indiana is tough to deal with.
locked in for the next 5 years...they will fire budenholzer and hire dantoni saying they need a better offensive system
Gotta get the ball out of KD’s hands and if you lose because of Joe Harris or Shamet, oh well. Jrue Holliday was AWFUL down the stretch. Like embarrassingly so. He can’t take a one legged man off of the dribble?????? Budenholzer was horrendous too.
On another late possession, Harden was guarding Brook Lopez and Lopez just stood at the three point line watching Giannis.
Not a well coached team. I still can’t believe Holliday couldn’t exploit Harden.
I definitely give Nash credit for the job he's done, really all year but especially in the playoffs. He hasn't been perfect but what coach is. I think how good of a job he's doing for this being his first year in coaching is being overshadowed by the fact he clearly has the most talented team. But he's really made this team often look like a well-oiled machine which actually isn't easy for a team with 3 future HOFers who all like the ball in their hands and have rarely been on the court altogether at once.
Randle deserved it. If Tatum has a complaint, it should be with Jimmy Butler making it over him. He missed a bunch of games.
Booker and Mitchell are guards. That has nothing to do with Randle.

Aaaaand the deer in headlights come through again. Good luck Milwaukee rooting for this crew and actually believing they will win anything

I was about to say the Nets literally have the 2 best coaches in the series right now.
I feel like if we do this we obviously don’t compete for a title next year, but in 2022 we’d be in prime position cap-wise to make multiple big splashes when the UFA class will be better. I mean I like Derozan but he is 32 years old do we really think he’s gonna be one of our main options in our future title run (whenever that actually becomes a realistic thing lol)? Lowry is a little different story since I think he’s a guy you just bring in for like 2 years— lower risk IMO, and him and Rose tag teaming at PG for the next 2 years , we’d be in good hands while we search for /develop a PG of the future.
Barrett
Powell
Randle
Turner
BENCH:
Rose
Quickley
Bullock
Burks
Toppin
Mitch
Taj
Well I mean he did shoot 47.5% from 3 this year on 6.4 attempts per game. Granted he’s choking like a shit-eating dog in this series but at least for his production in the regular season there are definitely worse-spent $20M contracts out there.
Is it because he is a little bit older?

He is absolutely a good shooter but he doesnt nothing else..

Don't leave us, Kenny Payne.

Thibs is not the youngest coach in the NBA, i wonder if they told Payne and Bryant they would be the leading candidates ehen zthibs decides to retire
And how does Giannis not guard Durant ever? Built like an andonis , 26 and supposedly one of the best defenders in the league? The guy is soft.

He is only 63 and just got his dream job, I seriously doubt he or the Knicks have discussed his retirement.
yeah probably right
He's still signing the max, but there's smoke in Dallas for sure.
Fuck Porzingis, plus it drives up the value of the 2023 pick even if there are rumors he may want out.

yeah he is signing the max but maybe he takes a shorter deal likr Lebron did
He's going to be 24, so he's pretty much a finished product, so I think that product is pretty damn good. Deadly, deadly shooter. Pretty athletic, good at getting steals.
I think he has starting potential, or at least looks like a key rotation guy early, which would be a huge boost with the 19th or 21st pick.
No interest in Bouknight, Tre Mann, Sharife Cooper or Jared Butler.
