It is being reported by Empire Sports Media that the Knicks are one of the teams interested in Pacers C Myles Turner.
This would make some sense as Turner is a rim protector and an offensive threat. The lack of Gibson/Noel being an offensive threat was definitely a detriment in the Hawks series. Of course, the cost could be prohibitive as Indiana is tough to deal with.

That’s what is so crazy about “The Process” - if they break it up now people will mock them and say it didn’t work, but it did. Butler-Embiid-Simmons probably wins a title last year or this year. They could’ve won it the one postseason they were together if not for Kawhi’s three that bounced on the rim 100 times. Crazy to let him get away, and supposedly it was because he was “high maintenance.”
P.S. I know Butler wasn’t drafted, but they traded young pieces and picks to get him.

I don’t understand how no one has at least told Simmons you’re not going to make many free throws if you’re firing line drives at the rim. Even if putting arc on the ball doesn’t feel natural to him it at least gives the ball a chance to go the fuck in.
Yeah I feel like Simmons is the type of player that could be a 3rd all star on a perennial championship contender, but he needs 2 all stars flanking him who can both get buckets in half-court offense when needed. Embiid is one, but you need a guy like Butler too. They thought Harris could be that guy but he clearly was not ready for the moment in the playoffs here. Butker damn sure would’ve gotten buckets when they most needed it in the 4th quarter both Monday night and tonight. Even just replace Harris with Butler and the Sixers have this series won in 5. I mean it took Embiid going 0/12 in the 2nd half on Monday and then Embiid not scoring a single point in the final 8 minutes of the game tonight to blow those games this badly. If you think Jimmy Butler doesn’t close both those games out for you you’re crazy.
