I would put him behind Barkley, Booker, Clement, and Armstead at this point in his career. Plus I'd like to see what Brightwell can do. The only way I see it happening is if Barkley (or another guy) is on the injured list to start the season
The original article was pure speculation. I don’t think there was any legitimate reporting behind it.
That’s kind of what I was thinking, but hadn’t seen it posted so thought I would throw it out there for entertainment purposes during this period of little to no news lol.
You'd be surprised at how many folks still whip their kids as a corrective measure. And course, the lack of whipping is the cause of all the world's problems.
He did not just “whip” his kid. He hit his kid with a stick, causing lacerations. Tyreke Hill broke his kids arm and punched a pregnant woman in the stomach. He is still in the league.
I think it's pure speculation by a writer -- which is fine, but I don't think it's informed speculation. To me, AP only seems a fit if either the Giants have A LOT of injuries at RB, or if they want someone to work with Saquon on returning from an ACL tear. And that last case seems very very unlikely.

Yeah agreed. But if you’re looking to breed the next generation of sociopath, go right ahead and “talk” then into understanding consequences. That’ll work great.
He's still somewhat productive, but he isn't a pass catcher or blocker (although his pass pro is decent). I think a backup RB has to be more diverse. And younger.
he whooped his son with a belt, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I'm sorry if that was part of your childhood, but there is something wrong with it. When you whip your son's bare ass with a belt and leave scars on his testicles, it's called child abuse. And when you rarely see that child, it's called child neglect.

If they had that taxi squad structure like last year I would be more willing

Negative, he whooped his son with a belt, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
