NFT: Question about Intrepid museum

Coming to the city Sunday/Monday. Thinking the intrepid museum on Monday. If anyone has been, how long would SO and I want to be there?

Depends on how much SO likes boats, aircraft, science and technology

I could spend the whole day. My cousins enjoyed being there for about two hours. This was more than a year ago.

Although it is in the middle of Manhattan (kinda), it is away from cars and is therefore quiet and relaxing. We bought tickets in advance and avoided a long waiting line to get in.

There is very elegant shopping a short walk away. "Hudson Yards" I believe.

Maybe because I have been to the Smithsonian in DC and over at Dulles, but I thought it was marginal at best. If you are really into ships and have not been on an aircraft carrier...then it is worth a visit.
