Already have our tickets, way upper deck but row 1. About 30 other fans in our extended group going as well that I know of. Really hope we're fighting for a playoff spot at that point in the season.
While we're on the topic where is the best place to set up the tailgate Sunday and a good place to meet up on Saturday night? I saw O'Brien's is a Giants bar up in Santa Monica. Anything more centrally located to the stadium area with people staying all over?
LA local will definitely go. Anyone have a sense of whether cheap tickets will be avail closer to? Or am I definitely better off buying early? (haven't been to a game live in a while).

Considering how apathetic LA is-from all accounts of relatives/friends-about the Bolts, you probably could buy a tix off a scalper for like $5 bucks on game day.

It is a brand new stadium and it is still not clear what the parking situation will be or if they will allow pre-game tailgates. The SOFI stadium was also built on the old Hollywood Racetrack located across the street from the old LA Forum in Inglewood. It has been almost a decade since I lived in LA, but I don't recall people going to hang out there unless they were degenerate gamblers going to the casino.
I think OB's is a Giants bar on Sunday, but not sure what happens on there on Friday/Saturday. If you are flying in from out of town you are probably better off hanging out on Santa Monica Pier or 3rd Street promenade to be honest. There are lots of bars and restaurants that should be open by then. Can't recommend anything specific b/c I don't know what is still open after COVID.

O'Briens is giants central on gameday, but on saturday night it will just be an irish sports bar vibe. But can't hurt to support the local Giants bar.
For Saturday night or Sunday tailgate, there are some good breweries a short drive from the stadium:
-Common Space and LA Aleworks are both spacious with outdoor seating and good beer, walking distance to each other.
-3 Weavers is great beer but a little smaller.
-El Segundo Brewing is great and the little town of El Segundo is charming and has some good bars and restaurants.
Definitely hope parking and tailgating is permitted again by then. It's great to get everyone in the Giants family together before and after the game.
As it gets closer and we see where we are covid wise we should pick one of the places above and make a meet up for Sat night. We're staying in Playa Del Rey so I think we should be close to those bars. Also unless something changes by December I believe you do need to be vaccinated to attend the game and yes tickets are on sale.
definitely will. There will be more Giants fans there than Chargers fans. They get outnumbered by opposing team fans every game.

Upper deck, around 5 yard line. $560 for 4 tickets including all fees.

Any info on tailgating situation at SOFI?
