Nate Ebner man crush

Last year Ebner was brought in to help the special teams. The defense against punt returns was atrocious and when Ebner was forced to play safety he was not an asset. I would much rather see
Beal or Williams or another young player who shows potential in pre season than Ebner on the team.

Agree. Ebner wasn’t even that impactful on special teams, where he is supposed to be great. Id rather keep a guy like madre harper who has some measurables and plays specials hard.

players that's worked with Judge directly before. I'm willing to bet he's more of a Coach on the field/ Culture type guy. Sort of like Deon Grant was.

Actually made plays, but i get what you are saying, im sure he’s a good character, well liked guy, but we are at the point now where we can actually be competitive and need all the talent we can squeeze on the roster.

How bad was it? And what do you think was the primary cause?

Wasn’t Ebner in the backfield as a protector, responsible for blocking rushers until the ball is punted?

late in the year and I think Ebner missed the rusher with a poor effort. I was pissed. Time to move on.

Judge's comments on Ebner made me question his strategy.
