Steelers host OG Trai Turner

Per Adam Schefter. The visit was today, and apparently he is looking for a contract worth $2 million to $3 million.

The Chargers tried to trade him earlier in the off-season, before they ultimately released him.
Something is up with Turner

I mean he’s what, 27 or 28? And he’s been a pro bowler. The fact that our GM drafted him and doesn’t appear to be interested even at 2-3 million speaks volumes.

He was not good last season and the odds are that he will never be the player he was due to a groin injury.

Per PFF (yeah yeah yeah I know....) he was the 2nd worst G in the league last year. And we all know who they graded as the worst. So seems to be a what have you one for me lately type of deal. Guys can lose it real quick in this league.
So, basically the Steelers and Chargers might swap linemen:

Feiler for Turner. LAC gets the steady, versatile player. PIT saves some money and maybe gets some upside potential if they sign Turner and he regains his pre-2019 form.
Again, having seen extensive tape during the off season and practice

reps, maybe, JJ and staff really are upbeat with what they have.

Something to strongly consider, imv.

Between Lemieux or Fulton? Because the latter was rated pretty badly.
