No question. And they win this series in 5 with all 3 healthy. And im a Knicks fan. If the 3 of them had been healthy and completely choked I could understand the reason for shit talking. But Kyrie got injured, Harden got Injured and I give him a ton of credit for putting his career and health on the line to tough it out for his teammates, and Durant played his ass off averaging 48+ minutes the last 3 games and nearly carried them to the finish line. He made almost every clutch basket you could ask him to make, he just clearly ran outta gas in the final OT.
I’m not saying shit because a year from now If they’re all healthy they’re winning the title easily. And anyone talking shit about them right now will likely be the same people saying their title “doesn’t count” then because they “cheated” by teaming up.
Also, I hate to say this, but The Nets as an organization didn’t get here by accident— they were the team that these dudes decided to play for in part because they’ve had a history of smart moves that reflected well on them as an organization. The Knicks front office (again, the team I’m a fan of) have done every possible thing to fuck up and make themselves look bad the past 20 years (up until this year) and that’s why, despite being a NY-based team with the best arena and fans in basketball, barely anyone good has wanted to actually come here.
I’m extremely happy though that we’ve put ourselves in a better position this year with a better culture and a better front office. It’s also a lot more fun to root for a team like the Knicks were this year— a scrappy blue collar bunch that far exceeded expectations. I’m staying quiet on this Nets loss because I’m hopeful the Knicks have done enough attract some free agents of their own and I’m way more confident this front office will push the right buttons than I ever have been.

But if the Knicks are in this series, they don’t win a game with two of their three too players not playing or playing hurt. And KD stood up to carry his team. Our best didn’t against Atlanta.
