Detroit won the Cade sweepstakes.
Toronto hitting the 4th spot they get to draft their replacement for Lowery.
It will be interesting to see if the Knicks can package picks and move up and if they even want to?
Hopefully a PG slips down in range of the Knicks.
Will GS trade 7 and 14 for a Vet to help them win now or build for post Curry?
Less than a month to the draft and rumors are flying around.

I get Denver, but what is Toronto giving up?
Probably flip Siakim for draft picks, then trade FVV and draft picks for lillard

They have let teams know Siakam is available so presumably, he'd be part of the deal.
Yeah, we don't know what Portland wants but the OKC rebuild plan seems a lot smarter than some mediocre Simmons/McCollum or Siakam/McCollum 35-win squad.

know why the Blazers want Siakam. You can't win with Dame but you can with historically unclutch Pascal?

This is why I think the Knicks actually have a great offer. Picks + Cap Space + Legitimate NBA caliber youth on rookie deals is a really tough trio to top.
You can get a great package from us + turn CJ into a similar package + get more picks for RoCc and Nurkic.
Jokic/Lillard/Murray is a ring challenging trip for the next half decade.
Move Mitch, IQ, Obi, and all the picks needed.
Cap space, Dame, RJ, and Randle is something to build from and makes sense.
Kwahi is going to stay in LA he has rings, PG13 and they are on the cusp of a championship team. Also it's his team and NY it would be Dame's team first.
I think all of this is pipedreams BTW.
Jokic/Lillard/Murray is a ring challenging trip for the next half decade.
Totally agree. MPJ has a lot to prove and he's an absolutely atrocious defender.
Haha. You ain't getting a young star for Simmons this summer.
Jokic/Lillard/Murray is a ring challenging trip for the next half decade.
That's the Western favorites next fall if that's Denver's trio.
Jokic/Lillard/Murray is a ring challenging trip for the next half decade.
I suppose you get the best deal for your team, but does making another team in your conference a title favorite for that long factor into the decision at all?

If Blazers trade Dame, it's rebuild mode so I guess...Who cares? It's not like Portland would be contending while Dame is still Dame.

Didn't he literally just sign a long term contract?

I always thought he was the star that was rumored to want to come to the Knicks. Its probably wishful thinking but I could totally see him being traded there in the next year.

Dame said if Portland didn't want him he would like to play for Utah or the Lakers
So maybe a 3 way deal with Utah? (partially kidding)

He's signed for 4 more seasons.

Damn I thought I was the only one who'd never heard about it.
Something is very fishy about the way this always happens with guys like Kidd and Billups. Their name comes up for head coaching options, and the second they do you also see in the media "these allegations haunt their past" etc. Why does that always seem to happen? We never heard that with Kidd when he was simply being hired as an asst. coach, but as soon as HC opportunities start being discussed with his name the first thing always following it is "well what about x y z allegations?" Who decided JUST NOW to bring this shit up about Billups? Why now? As though he wasn't already an NBA player for 17 years AFTER this incident and an asst. coach for the Clippers last year? We're acting like NOW we have to put him on trial for this shit?

Because when you become a head coach you become face of a franchise, you are a ceo...

That Giannis injury looks horrible.
What a complete shift in this series. Holy mackerel.
Giannis can not be the #1 player on a championship team.

Game was in Atlanta. But I definitely hear you.
CP3 I like as a player, even if I sometimes don’t like his personality, but if not the Clippers I wouldn’t mind seeing him win a chip— he’s the true leader of that team , it’s not like he’s just some old dude chasing a ring as the #4 option or something. Amazing how long he’s been able to do what he does, and at just 6 feet tall .

I still don’t understand why NOW is the time for it to come up about Billups. I mean it was a quarter century ago and there were no criminal charges whatsoever at any point. And I’m not arguing whether or not I know he’s innocent— it’s just that he was one of the faces of the Pistons franchise for years as a player (AFTER this happened), I’ve seen him on TV on multiple sports talk shows as an analyst. It’s just weird to me that this for some reason just immediately becomes the first topic of discussion as soon as he’s mentioned as a possible HC, but not for any of the other shit he’s done in his life in the public eye? Like it really does just seem to go: “Billups: possible HC candidate. Okay first things first: what kind of offense he’ll probably run? No. something that happened in 1997 that involved no criminal charges and hasn’t been discussed in decades. That’s the logical place to start when evaluation a new NBA coach.”
@wojespn
The Lakers are finalizing a deal to hire former Knicks and Grizzlies coach David Fizdale as an assistant coach, sources tell ESPN.
I have never seen such a garbage coach defended so much by the media
