David Peterson has been playing catch, he’s feeling better and better each day.

Luis Rojas said the plan is for him to throw off a slope this weekend if all goes as planned.

Jordan Yamamoto is throwing bullpens in Florida and could begin a rehab assignment soon. Mets haven’t ruled him out for late August or early September.

Yeah that ticked me off too. My guess is they figured Conforto was red hot and they didnt want to cool him off and they wanted to get Pillar in there against a lefty....

But they should have just gone with the everyday lineup IMO.

His defense in CF might have slipped a notch from his prime but he is a natural CF

Nimmo is a corner OF really, and a fairly good one

Nimmo is a positive DRS player in CF this year believe it or not. Pillar is not.

I'm not sure how we are staying in games like this.

Coaches, managers and most importantly players are really stepping up.

I know some are disappointed this season but you have to consider that's all relative to your expectations. This team has injuries everywhere and continues to be snake bitten but is consistently showing heart and I'm proud to be a Mets fan.
