Closer by committee with Diaz as the primary but not sole closer.
Just keep fighting guys

I vote to let Stroman go all nine - give the entire pen the day off...
Don’t really get the “RBI” jokes…

Jeff McNeil has departed today's game in the eighth inning. Looked like a bit of discomfort running out a ground ball in the top of the inning, but he walked off the field fine. At a glance, doesn't seem to be anything major.

So when is McNeil going on the IL.
getting a CG SO in a game already won is a lot less meaningful than however he performs in his next start.

ridiculous...

He was ROLLING - another 10-15 pitches wouldn't have affected his next start.
Ah, well - got the win, that's the important part. Hopefully Carrasco can provide some stability in the rotation, and deGrom can come back soon...

unless his hip soreness from last month returns. (which happened in the first inning of a game and probably only 10-15 pitches in if I recall)
or he tweaks his oblique like Peterson.
or his shoulder like Yamamoto.
or his forearm/side/back/lat like JDG.
or his hammy like Carrasco.
all it takes is 1 pitch, or awkward step running to 1b, or hard hit come backer. Obviously you can't put these guys in bubble wrap and they have to pitch, just saying I have no issue whatsoever with any unnecessary innings saved.
Exactly. Sinkerballer like Familia needs regular work.

I'd rather have Brach back though
Carrasco is on-turn if they decide to ramp him up at the big-league level. See if he can give you 3-4 or use him in one of the DH games on Monday.
