I like Lonzo as a fit if we add an all star level wing that can attack the rim and create. Lonzo provides a lot but creation off the dribble is not that. You can get a bit of that from Randle, but we saw the limitations of that against really good defenses. Lonzo is a really good complementary player but having a PG that is not the leader of the offense is limiting unless you get that creation elsewhere. Thats why I think the best fit for him is CHI, next to Lavine.

I think him and Quickley would be a good complement to each other. We'd still need another penetrator even if we sign Rose. Both play D. Both can hit the outside shot. Lonzo doesn't have to handle the ball all the time with Quickley and Randle on the court.
As a UConn fan, it would be fun for the Knicks to nab him but he's also got a LOT of work to do to match the Zach Lavine comp folks like to use for him. Aside from the dunking, the rest of his game is not there yet.
Liability on defense due to his size and presently an awful shooter from three point range. I hope a lot of that talk is just smokescreen. He profiles as a back-up/spark plug type and we already have Quickley, Vildoza and likely Rose who can give us backup PG minutes.

The size thing is a real issue, but you're probably overweighing the stats from 12 games to say he's a bad shooter. He's an outstanding passer and strong penetrator and creator.

I have to look at their cap BUT if i am the suns i would hesitate to give him 3 hears 100 m..
i would go younger, you may take a step back but it gives you more longevity, i think they take a step back even if they bring back paul
