I ordered a Kadarius Toney jersey the day after he was drafted for my nephew. Original shipping date was 1st week in July. I then received an email stating that it would be delayed until the first week of August. Fine I have no issue with it....now I just got another email stating it will be October and do I want to keep the item or cancel it.
I chose to keep it but man WTF? I know the pandemic has something to do with it...I'm just a little annoyed.

I've had maybe one or two issues with Amazon over the past 10 years. Just in the past two months I've had 4 orders cancelled due to stock issues and two that were supposedly shipping but then were returned to the sender after reaching an Amazon depot. All orders were refunded, but two of them were fantastic deals on Amazon Prime day and though I got the refund, there wasn't a price guarantee to reorder.
This.
I work in retail and this has been a problem since last year. It’s not getting any better any time soon either.
Lead times are best-guesses.
Or stop paying people 75-80K a year for doing nothing??? What do you think? And just think another 2 million people on that plan that are crossing the border this year.

4 to 12 week delay for delivery. Labor shortages was the response from the sales team. “No one wants to work anymore” must have been said 3 times. Seems like employers should raise wages increase benefits or offer other incentives.

I assume this is in regards to enhanced unemployment? It seems the states that ended it still haven’t seen an increase in hiring.

I think there's a chance that he changes his number before the season starts. I seem to remember reading that Toney wasn't thrilled with "89".

The only thing that you can pin on the enhanced unemployment is it's contribution to the boost in the economy. People that get that $ are spending it...everyone else is buying the shit that they didn't buy in 2020.
Same goes for gasoline. Too much supply in 2020 (no one was driving) price went down, 2021, not knowing what to expect, supply is low but now, everybody is driving again...price goes up.
Actually- I misinterpreted your post. Rookie numbers not being finalized until the first week of Sept may be the issue causing the delay.

In what world are people paid 75-80k to do nothing? I thought the unemployment benefits were capped at like 400 in most states?
