All signs point to UFA G Jonathan Bernier signing with New Jersey today.
As we reported before, UFA G Jaroslav Halak should be signing with Vancouver.
I wonder if UFA G James Reimer ends up in SJ or Vegas?

Antii Raanta to Carolina- 1 year, $2M
I don't understand why the Wild couldn't trade him and eat half instead of this. I guess the NMC made it better for Suter to get bought out and sign a new deal?
Jordan Martinook resigns with Carolina at 3 years, $1.8M per. Nice signing there.
Luke Glendenning going to Dallas on a 2 year deal at $1.5M per.
G Brian Elliott going to TB, 1 year deal around $900K.
Granlund back to Nashville at 4 years, $5M per.
Goligoski to the Wild for 1 year at $5M.

Yep the back end will probably hurt on that deal, but it's a move they needed to do. Their PP closer resembled monkeys humping a football than it did an NHL team last year. They had to add some vets to the ridiculous collection of 23 and unders they have ammased. Bernier is a solid add as a good vet 1A/2 type goalie. Adding some some goal scoring with a top 6 type fwd would be perfect bit with this FA class I don't see it unless maybe a guy like Mike Hoffman.
DMan Derek Forbort signs with Boston at 3 years, $3M per.
Parise looks to be returning to the Devils.
Gotta say the Nemeth deal looks pretty good with some of this crazy money thrown around to very average DMen.
Bogosian back to TB at 3 years, $850K per.

That would be awesome. It's not the top 6 forward that they need but he adds value as a bottom 6 forward. Most importantly he provides much needed leadership up front.

There has got to be a more substantial move coming. I can't imagine they fired Gorts and JD just so Slats and Drury could tinker the bottom of the roster
Good for Drury to avoid that
