Love these comments. Aaron Rodgers is definitely the only athlete to make demands. Tom Brady never did, Peyton Manning never did, Drew Brees never did. NBA players don't either, that's for sure.
Why would Hou participate in this? A swap of late round picks to facilitate harmony for another franchise. Tell gb to fuck off.
I would imagine they are in cap clearing mode, so if you can do that and get a slightly higher pick, why not? What do they care about Green Bay anyway? They aren't in their division or conference.

Exactly. Why would Houston want to keep Cobb? Plus, they just traded for Miller.

It clears cap space. Cobb is a good player, but he'll be 31 next month, and he isn't the same guy he was 5 years ago. This trade makes sense for both sides.

I'm sure they made demands (as did Eli), but the former 2 were far less public about it.
As for NBA players, they're constantly bashed for forming super teams.

Really? The entire league rules changed because of Brady and Peyton. Sure, Rodgers has benefitted from that like all other QB's but he sure didn't start it.
I was joking about the NBA players, they are the worst.
and as far as I know Rodgers didn't publicly demand

take a couple of years off...
And come back with a new owner and change the team back to the Oilers.
The Titans were the original Houston Oilers, so I doubt that would happen. The Texans might be able to buy the name back, but that gets expensive (you'd have to change all the logos, team branding, etc.), and isn't likely.
Packers @ Saints Week 1 is back on the betting board
This fan board has gone off the deep end with respect to dissing on Aaron Rodgers at every turn. Absolutely fair that some of that is expected by his mannerisms/actions off the field.
But when the posts "stretch" into being critical of his play, being selfish on the field, not winning enough Super Bowls or even comparing Eli with him, then you simply are making things up to support your blind hate.
It's comical to me. I have the utmost respect for Rodgers as a QB, but I don't see how Cobb returning moves the needle at all. Replacement level player at this point.

That's generous. They should've just signed Golden Tate (I think he's still a UFA).
was absolutely absurd. Talk about a guy who runs a fuckin franchise. Wow. He just put his entire ballbag over the faces of the execs who are supposed to be running the show.
The disrespect was unreal. Holy shit. I've never seen anything like it.

Though he did have a decent year with the ‘Boys in ‘19

Texans are probably thrilled to get rid of his bloated salary ($8M base, $4M dead cap).

gets his way. Just beat Chicago twice.

Not only that, but he hasn't played a full season since 2016 and has only been a spot starter the past three years.

On the Rodgers return, not the Cobb signing.

This is some sad stuff right here.
