He might have done some quick math and made the right call. Players are fined $730 per pound over weight, so he was looking at a $12,410 fine. Players can be fined twice a week for being overweight and he obviously wasn't dropping 17 lbs overnight, so that tab would have added up

One thing I’m seeing with Daniel Jones is how much quicker he is with his drop back and release. No pass rush, mind you, but he’s gotta be getting the ball out of hands in well under 2.5 seconds.

Giants OL Shane Lemieux just went off on a cart. Appeared to be holding his right elbow. Clearly it’s a situation worth monitoring.

Today was a hard practice just on day two. Full team 11 on 11 turned up even though not in shells or pads yet. Plus cross field sprints for conditioning at end. Several guys kneeling down looking got oxygen #Giants

I'm sure it's not a super big deal. But when your franchise QB (resumably) is doing the same laps for mistakes as everyone else, I think players have to respect the coach.
help he needs. Seriously. Guy suffered one injury and came back fat as fuck and has been fat ever since. Up to a certain age its certainly possible to outgrow and outwork bad nutrition, but that stops in your early 20s. It sounds like he needs some mental help and clearly, food is his coping mechanism.

Man this could be a coop if he plays well at his new position, big fan of his out of Minn. Just screamed football player when he was on field. If anyone make the change it would be him.

Source: #Giants OT Matt Peart is dealing with a lower back strain that he suffered back in April. He has had lower back issues in the past and re-aggravated it during his offseason training program.
